things there r super fresh & cheap
although those uncles aunties
get on my nerve most of the time
.
from a very generous fish seller
so i decided to make them into
Sweet & Sour Fish
i have phobia with seafood(cannot tahan the fishy smell)
n very very afraid of THE WHOLE dead body
the process of cleaning them was horrifying
my hands jz can't stop shivering
>.< .
but the process of frying them
is damn #$*%$&@*+^$&@$&$*#&$*#@
ended up the fishes became 体无完肤~
poor fish fish... sowwie lo...
look at them lar~ so 死不瞑目 --_--"
when i served it on the dining table

this fish came a long way
my first CNY project idea was to make 老鼠斑
since it's year of Rat
because i saw this fish name in some restaurant menu
i went to search high n low for it's English/ Malay Name
so that i can trace this fish in the market
sadly to say...
only Karupa (Malay) or Garoupa/ Grouper = 石斑鱼
available in the market
n the sizes r tiny winy small!!!
big restaurant sabo all big fish edi kua...
cin cai lar~ watever lar~
Just Do It!
.
ask the fish stall to clean the fish for u
remember to pat the fish VERY DRY
i hold it in towel n walk all over the house
just to make sure it's really dry!
dap the fish with some starch
n again...
go into the Frying War
.
let the fried fish go lie down comfortably
fry some sliced red onion, chopped garlic, tomato,
pineapple, chili, pepper corn ++ watever u fancy
i have chopped Arrow Heads 芽菇 inside oh!
n add in some ketchup (add in water + sugar + salt)
pour on the fish n serve!

this meal very NOT ME hor?
