my kitchen has a lot of vege stock nowdays
because tat snakie says
vege price dropped... kesian those farmer
we must support them more
.
so...we had this platter for lunch!

Fried Mee Hoon

i always face failure
when it come to this'fry' mee hoon!!!
it took me more than 20 years
to fully UNDERSTAND how to 'fry' it
*duuuuuh*

mula-mula
rendam mee hoon in water until tender

drain it
prepare shreded ingredients
such as:
carrot, cabbage, mushroom n black fungus
* heat up the pan/ wok with some cooking oil
* fry chopped garlic til fragrant
* add in shreded ingredients n stir fry

* add in water n seasoning:
oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, pepper, salt, sugar
* boil for a while

* add in mee hoon
n let the noodle absorb all the gravy
WHY is this method of cooking called FRY???
confused me for so many years
shd just call it COOK Mee Hoon mar...

Quick Angel Hair

another day of waking up at noon
was really tired...
gave up the idea of doing big project
and changed to this easy pasta brunch menu
.
just used watever i can find in the kitchen
angel hair, minced meat, garlic, onion
oregano, rosemary, black pepper, cheese, olive

simple BIG meal are done

DIY Birthday Cake

it has been years since i last bake a cake myself
did it again for my 'daughter' first birthday
.
due to time shortage
decided to use cake mix
just follow watever instruction given on the box
i changed oil to butter & water to milk

before sending into oven
in baking process...... tension tension...

finally the output...... still very tension...

this is the BEST knife i can find.... i swear!

this cake also has another name
called 重出江湖缺陷美生日蛋糕
*phew* so long...

not very perfect but i really tried my best liao...
